Is it more dangerous to put a a smoker down under general anesthesia than a non-smoker? Not during the healing process, but actually DURING surgery, is there a great risk for complications?

Thank you for your response. I'm hopeing this will due the trick....but she's stubborn. Obviously she hasn't told you that she's a smoker, since she hasn't quit and seeing your stance on smokers in your practice. I'm very tempted to "out" her!

Best Regards,
